The mission of Lone Oak United Methodist Church is to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ through Prayer, Worship, Study, Witness, and Service. We invite all persons to join us on this journey.
Our front entrance is off Lone Oak Road/Highway 45, just past Milner and Orr Funeral home, on the left going toward Mayfield.
We are a congregation of over 500 members. Seeking, Growing, Serving are three words that best describe the spirit of our life and services together. We attempt to create an atmosphere in which questions are valued. We plan our worship and educational life for the purposes of growing a deeper faith and understanding of God's claim upon our lives. We value responding to human needs with commitments to support Paducah Cooperative Ministry, disaster response concerns, community and world mission. We believe we are all on a journey toward loving and serving God with the gifts God gives us. We believe that the life of faith is a journey that takes a life-time to travel.
Because we believe that the Christian Faith is dynamic and not static, we are all encouraged to grow spiritually so we can better serve God through our witness, both in church and in the world.
